Will oil or latex paint last longer for an interior mural?

I'm painting a small mural for a lady who insists oil paint will last hundreds of years as opposed to artists' latex paints (like Golden or Liquitex). Please tell me how long oil paint will last verses acrylic or what I can tell her to assure her that the latex will not fade, crack or peel within the next 60-100 years. Will oil or latex paint last longer for an interior mural?
Using oils for a mural can be tricky, if the preparation isn't exactly right then disaster is inevitable.

Tell your lady that Leonardo used oils for the Last Supper (it was falling to bits before it was even finished) and see if she still insists.

Acrylics will last several lifetimes, at least. Will oil or latex paint last longer for an interior mural?
go to www.novacolorpaint.com to read about murals. Prep work is as important as the paint. Hope this helps.
oil will last that long if you prime it well with gesso.
