If I am repainting a wall with latex paint, how long does it usually take to dry with good ventilation?

If it is a good paint it should be ';dry to the touch'; with in an hour or so. But you shouldn't put anything against it or hang anything on it for at least 24 hours. If I am repainting a wall with latex paint, how long does it usually take to dry with good ventilation?
if its dry to the eye, run your hand on it. if it still feels cool and moist, maybe a bit tacky then it will still take about an hour to dry (especially if you're going to recoat). the paint wont cure for days, however, and darker thicker paints take longer to dry and cure.
