How do you get latex paint off of carpet without lifting the rugs color?

Depends on the quanity. For a small amount, I would try a product called ';Oophs.'; It is formulated to clean latex paint from various surfaces. I have used it many times and it works pretty well.

If the paint is dry, I don't think it is very water soluble. How do you get latex paint off of carpet without lifting the rugs color?
Latex paint is water soluable, and that can help.

If it is a large amount of latex paint, there is a good possibility that the rug/carpet is ruined.

If paint is still liquid, use paper toweling and rags to wipe + soak up as much as possible. Then go ahead and start washing with water.

If is only smaller amounts like drips here or there, I would start using lots of water and rags to wash and soak it up.

If it is on an area rug, take the rug to a professional cleaner, and perhaps they can remove the paint without changing the color.

Good luck with the clean up.How do you get latex paint off of carpet without lifting the rugs color?
You can try the oops product, which you can get at the hardware store, also hot water with little soap like dish detergent , with a scrub brush and lots of elbow grease. Dont get carried away with the water, keep a towel nearby to absorb after scrubbing. And it may take more than a few scrubbings over a period of time. Renting or useing a carpet cleaner will also help.Good luck.
