Can expensive high quality and so-called ';green'; wallpapers and latex paints be got rid of bad pullutants completely?? Or however good and expensive they are, they still contain some pullutants?

What are those pullutants exactly and HOW do i get rid of them or at least cut down their bad effect?Wallpapers %26amp; Latex Paint: which one is less harmful to environment %26amp; health?
Here's more info on comparing ingredients in paints to help you decide which way to go. However, none are 100% green. It is always going to be a ';lesser of two evils'; situation.

Here is a product that might work for you. It is a paint alternative using natural pigments and clay.

Otherwise, in general, you should look into latex paints that have low VOC levels. There is a brand at Lowe's that makes it affordable. However, these paints usually don't last as long, or have the durability to stand up to ';high traffic'; use.

As for wallpaper, if you end up hating the color or pattern, it will be hard to replace. A painted wall you can color over with less waste. Better in the long run.

Good luck!Wallpapers %26amp; Latex Paint: which one is less harmful to environment %26amp; health?
Hello. You are not going to get rid of Pollutants in a modern house these days. Most everything in a room, has a pollutant. However you are talking about Wallpaper and Paint. You mention Latex Paint, of which I'm not familiar. If you are painting either walls or woodwork; by far the most efficient and lasting paint would be Acrylic paint. This can be wiped down, and paint washes out with water. It is far less polluting than an oil-based paint. Modern plasticised wallpaper, again is easy to clean, and almost non-polluting. I don't think you will rid your home of all pollutants. The only time you would have to take care,is where you have special sealers for walls etc. Some have very harsh chemicals. The pollutants that exist in almost all products,ie wood' plastic, paper, paint etc, are very minute, and I really wouldn't worry too much. Good Luck!
